Tinnitus
Tinnitus occurs when a person hears an internal sound in their ears or head. It can present itself in many forms - sometimes it is described as a ringing, a buzzing or a whistling sound. These sounds can occur continuously or intermittently and can vary in tone and intensity.
Tinnitus can affect one’s life in many ways, including their overall health and social well-being which can result in distress, anxiety and sleep disturbance.

Common reasons for hearing loss include excess noise exposure and general aging.
